Just got around to watching Ocean's 11 and her opening scene where she walks
across the floor and she is supposed to be sexy was so lame! She walks like
a guy. I always thought it was just part of her character or something but
this time she was obviously supposed to be sexy and was sooooooooo not sexy.

I thought the exact same thing. Near the end when she's walking out of the
casino, she looks like a plucked Big Bird kind of lurching around. My husband
and I were hysterical, she's supposed to be the object of these guys lust and
her posture is so bad it was just laughable.

She walks like a colt. Horrible, isn't it? How about the one where she
pony-trots at the end, when she runs into George Clooney's arms. God, poor
George...probably didn't know whether to kiss the broad or shove a bit in her
mouth....

It probably has something to do with her preference for anal
sex. No doubt she had something stuck up her ass.

In the dvd it shows that she was barefoot
during those scenes.

Also, check out Meg Ryan's adolescent boy walk. It's tortuous to watch.

Be honest with me! Is there anyone out there that gets this meg ryan chick?
Does anyone really think she is beautiful or talented? I find her repulsive
and talentless. I use to watch her on ATWT and I found her to be god awful as
an actress. Maybe she is good...I just don't get it!

Is this true about her? She really looks like a transvestite and is
obsessed with big-whangussed men. It's so 'gay man trapped in a
woman's body'.

I think she was trying to homage the tastefully leggy Angie Dickinson,
unsuccessfully. She and her guru Soderbergh probably brainstormed and she
came up with, "I'll walk like I have a carrot up the butt."

Oh please. That was a rumor. She was already stealing Danny Moder from his wife
at the time....oh, not that this means anything for Julia, though.

Besides that, Soderberg was/is dating Jules Asner from E!

Julia Roberts has never walked with any form of grace. She is typical
of women of her generation who wore heels before they learned how to
walk in them. She lumbers. Watch her in Pretty Woman, or any film
she's in -- she is graceless. She needs ballet or some form of
movement. She definately doesn't have lady-like grace to use an old
phrase.

No, it's not just you. She used to look pretty (nothing spectular,
mind you) but she's not aging well at all. And you're 100% correct
about her acting talents - she's Pia Zadora meets Madonna meets Pamela
Anderson meets Demi Moore awful.

Now, there are bad actresses who are interesting to watch, but Ryan
just bores me to tears. I can't stand anything she's in. Maybe it's
her, or maybe she's always stuck with the worst scripts. Either way, I
wish she'd retire.

My, that movie was pretty bad.

I remember spontaneously chuckling at that scene, not because of her
walking, but because of some comment one of the characters made about
her. Something about waiting around every day to see her walk by and
saying it was the high point of his days. You'd think he was waiting
to see Marilyn Monroe or the young Elizabeth Taylor.

Not that Julia isn't attractive, but she's not the attention-grabbing
beauty Hollywood wants us to believe she is.

And what about that ending? She was disappointed in Andy Garcia's
moral values so she hooks up with a CRIMINAL?

I remember her on Charles in Charge. She used to watch kids in the same
neighborhood as Charles (Scott Baio).

As for her looks, I've always hated her gummy grin. However my friend just
got her hair cut to look like Meg's - the messy look. Suits my friend.

Yeah, the ending was totally unbelievable, she never showed anything but
contempt for him and suddenly just because she's NOT going to be with Garcia
she's going to go back to her ex? Whatever. I did however enjoy the rest
of the movie, the whole caper idea and Brad and George were, well, I hate to
admit it but, they were dreamy!

My, that movie was pretty bad. >>

I loved George in it. Up until then, I really loathed Clooney. That movie made
me an instant fan.

LOL, exactly!. Wrong line for the wrong actress.

<< Not that Julia isn't attractive, but she's not the attention-grabbing

She's not horrible. But she's just missing something...she doesn't have that
"thing". Even when she'll all gussied up, she's never really glamorous and
sexy, she just doesn't catch fire onscreen. I don't know what it is that is so
appealing.

<< And what about that ending? She was disappointed in Andy Garcia's

The whole plot was a mess. I just loved seeing George...oh, did I mention that
already? ;)

Just watched the first movie version of "Sabrina" today which starred
Audrey Hepburn... now there's a woman with grace and style!

Whatever her acting talent, Meg Ryan is a hairstyle icon. In online
searches, for example, last month she topped Jennifer Aniston. Ryan and
Aniston have been far ahead of most other female celebrities for a long
time. Ryan is the queen of casual chic hairstyles.

I don't think Ryan is an awful actress, but I don't see her winning an
Oscar any time soon. I've seen her in You've Got Mail and French Kiss. She
was okay.

I know how much she hates being tagged as someone who just does
romantic comedies, but I've cringed at some of her forays into Dark
Roles. Addicted to Love was awful, and I was baffled at Oscar talk for
her turn in Proof of Life (that was before the movie was even
released). I didn't see her work in that Gulf War film (title escapes
me), so can't speak to that.

When I read she was thinking of making (and starring in) a movie about
suicidal, depressed poetess Sylvia Plath, I wondered what the hell the
world was coming to. Don't know what ever became of that gem of an
idea.

Audrey Hepburn was a lovely woman who potrayed various type of
characters which such elegance. I love old movies and she is my
favorites actress. "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "Sabrina" or "Charade"
the movies I love best.
