Emmy-winning actress PATRICIA HEATON, who plays wife and mother Debra Barone on
the CBS sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," and her husband, British-born
actor-producer David Hunt, have listed their Hancock Park home in the
$1.7-million range.
The couple, who have four children, bought a bigger house in the same
neighborhood. They've also had a home for the last few years in a village near
Cambridge, England.
The Hancock Park home they are selling has four bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths in
slightly more than 4,000 square feet. The Mediterranean-style home, where the
family lived and enjoyed entertaining for four years, has a sunlit family room
that overlooks the backyard and a pool. The home also has a newly built guest
house.
The main house was built in the '20s but was recently refurbished. It has
central air conditioning and updated electrical and plumbing.
Heaton, who stars in the upcoming CBS movie "A Town Without Christmas," has
co-starred on "Everybody Loves Raymond" since it started in 1996. Last year,
she won an outstanding lead actress Emmy for work on the series.
A New York stage actress for nine years before moving to L.A. in the late '80s,
Heaton appeared as the birth mother of Sarah (Jennifer Love Hewitt) on "Party
of Five" and had the recurring role of Nancy Weston's doctor on
"thirtysomething." In 1992, she also appeared in the feature films "Memoirs of
an Invisible Man" and "Beethoven."
Hunt, 47, has been married to Heaton, 43, since 1990. He played Bob Arbuthnot
in the TV movie "Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express," which aired
on CBS in April.
Hunt also appeared as Bill Parker on "Everybody Loves Raymond" (1998, 1999),
and he played Tom Halstead in John Grisham's "The Client" TV series (1995-96).
Besides producing stage plays with Heaton, Hunt has produced such movies as
"Double Blast" (1994), "Triple Impact" (1993) and "Fist of Steel" (1993).

"Friends" star DAVID SCHWIMMER has put his Hollywood Hills home on the market
at $1.25 million.
The actor, who plays Ross Geller on the NBC sitcom and co-stars in the upcoming
NBC miniseries "Uprising," bought a house in Hancock Park in June for $5.5
million.
He has owned the Hollywood Hills home, above Sunset Strip, since 1995. The
gated home has four bedrooms and four baths in 3,000-plus square feet.
The two-story traditional also has a used-brick patio and a pool. Built in the
'40s and later updated, the home has hardwood floors.
Schwimmer's new home is on more than an acre and has nine bedrooms in 11,000
square feet.
The actor, 34, is now into his eighth season on "Friends." He and other
starring members of the ensemble cast each earn $750,000 an episode. He also
appears in the 10-part, HBO miniseries "Band of Brothers," airing now into
November. "Uprising," about the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943, is due to air November
4-5.
He has starred in such movies as "Kissing a Fool" (1998) and "The Pallbearer"
(1996). And he co-founded the Lookingglass Theatre Company in Chicago.

FREDDY DeMANN, Madonna's former manager and co-founding partner of Maverick
Records, and his wife, Candy, have sold their Bel-Air home for $20 million, say
Westside Realtors not involved in the transaction.
The buyer is a member of the Walton family, heirs of the late Sam Walton,
founder of Wal-Mart.
The DeManns had owned the home since 1993. They had listed the home at $23
million in January, 2000, after spending three years refurbishing and expanding
it.
The 20,000-square-foot, Art Deco-style home, on nearly three acres, has a main
house with five bedrooms, including a 2,000-square-foot master suite.
The home also has a projection room, wine cellar, hair salon, gym, sauna, guest
house, pool, spa and tennis court. The home, behind gates, is on a promontory
with city to ocean views.
Freddy DeMann, who left Maverick Records with a hefty settlement in 1999, has
been guiding the career of popular Colombian singer Shakira, whose first
English album will be released in November.
Barbara Duskin of Coldwell Banker Previews, Beverly Hills North office,
represented the sellers, and Michael Collins of Coldwell Banker, Beverly Hills
East, represented the buyer, sources said.

SANDY GALLIN, an executive producer of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" who is now
co-producing "Hedda Gabler" on Broadway, has sold his Carbon Beach home in
Malibu for $10 million, including some furnishings.
Escrow opened and closed since the September 11 terrorist attacks. The asking
price was $12.5 million. The buyer is a restaurateur.
The Carbon Beach house, one of many that Gallin has redone over the years, was
previously owned by comedian-actor Flip Wilson, who died in 1998 at age 64.
Gallin bought the home in 1999 and expanded it from 4,300 to 6,700 square feet.
The house, with five bedrooms and six baths, also has 60 feet of beach
frontage.
The producer still has his other Malibu home on the market at $12.5 million.
Situated on Paradise Cove, that home has about 278 feet of sandy beach.
Gallin, who is co-producing "Return to Moscow" on Broadway in the spring,
represented such stars as Dolly Parton and Neil Diamond before he became a TV
producer. The new production of "Hedda Gabler" opened Oct. 4.
Katie Bentzen of Pritchett-Rapf, Malibu, represented the buyer of the Carbon
Beach home, sources said, and June Scott of June Scott Estates, a Coldwell
Banker company in Beverly Hills, represented Gallin in his sale and has his
other Malibu listing.

DON DIAMONT, who plays Brad Carlton on "The Young and the Restless," and his
wife, Rachel, have listed their Encino home at about $1.6 million.
The couple and their four sons are moving to nearby Calabasas, where they are
building a custom home.
Their two-story Tudor in Encino has seven bedrooms and six baths in almost
5,300 square feet, built in 1950. The half-acre-plus lot also has a
north-south tennis court and an open-air workout area overlooking a pool and a
spa.
The actor also starred in the movie "Marco Polo" (1999) and had a supporting
role in "A Low Down Dirty Shame" (1997). In 1990, he was chosen to appear in
the People magazine "50 Most Beautiful People in the World Special Issue." He
has been on the daytime series since 1985.
Rachelle Rosten and Beth Ann Green of Coldwell Banker, Beverly Hills East, have
the listing.

DIAN PARKINSON, a former model on the CBS game show "The Price Is Right," has
purchased a Spanish-style estate in Encino for close to its $2.4-million asking
price, according to sources not participating in the all-cash deal.
Because she appeared in Playboy, Parkinson was perhaps the most famous of the
show's silent female presenters, known to fans as "Barker's Beauties."
Parkinson is also known for having sued host Bob Barker in 1994, alleging
sexual harassment. She later dropped the lawsuit.
She is moving to Encino from Las Vegas.
The Encino home has five bedrooms and eight baths in about 7,000 square feet.
Behind gates, the newly built home, on just more than an acre, also has a
two-story living room with high, open beam ceilings; a tennis court; a rock
pool; and a spa.
Bob Hurwitz, president of Hurwitz-James Co. in Beverly Hills, had the listing,
and Frank and Sherilyn Riga of Riga Co. represented Parkinson in buying,
sources said.
