Now someones gonna say something that makes me look stupid like thats her

Have you never seen Goodfellas? Lorraine Bracco was fantastic as
Henry Hill's wife.

Also, Heather Graham was very good in Drugstore Cowboy, but it's
been downhill since then.

Yeah, MacGraw is pretty bad but she did manage to give ONE good career
performance in Love Story.

Other mostly bad actresses:

Denise Richards, but gave a good performance in Wild Things.

Madonna is generally awful, but was good in Suddenly Seeking Susan and
Evita.

Raquel Welch was terrible when she started out but she eventually improved a
lot. Same goes for Farrah Fawcett.

Bo Derek, and especially Edy Williams, have never been good in anything.

Shields yet? Even her interviews come across as bad acting, with her draggy
intonations.**

Oh yeah, she is the worst. Her comic acting is someone in a school skit who
was cast for enthusiasm and not personality. She's beyond amateurish.

I liked Lopez alot in Out of Sight, can't say I feel the same about her
other performances though.

I sort of liked Meryl back when she was in Silkwood and Out of African and
Sophie's Choice, but since then her work has been tepid at best. I remember
once that Meryl said that acting without an accent was too easy. Not easy
enough, I guess because without an accent her work is mostly palie and
without definition, except that she always seems sort of fragile. Compare
the breadth of her performances over her career with say Annette O'Toole or
Genieveve (sp) Bujold or Sissy Spacek and IMO she comes up lacking.

Lopez also gave an affecting supporting performance in
"Mi Familia/My Family" a few years ago before she hit it big.
The film stars Edward James Olmos, Jimmy Smits and Esai
Morales, and covers several decades in the life of an East
Los Angeles Chicano family. Lopez plays the matriarch of
the family in her youth; for the later years the role is played
by Jenny Gago. Highly recommended!

Bo Derek in "Tarzan the Ape Man" is my favorite bad
performance by a female. Whether she is laughing, crying or
afraid, she makes the same little chimp sob sound.

Has anyone else brought up Kristen Scott Thomas? She's
a great cure for insomnia. I watched the beginning of the
first "Mission: Impossible" film. When here character died,
I wondered how they could tell the difference.

If u appreciate acting then go to a stage show..drama of course. On tv one
doesn't really expect great acting, particularly a show like Buffy's.:)

Not only is she not the worst actress ever, it also isn't her only
movie (appearances in "Unzipped" and "54" aside, she's done another
two that have yet to get wide distribution ("The Simian Line" and "We
Married Margo") and an Italian movie called "Bodyguards" that was
truly horrible, though she's not to be blamed for it).

CindyLover, returning here to set the record straight and unsurprised
to find someone as uninformed as this so-and-so M A SPQ.
