BAD BOY CHARLIE SHEEN and his actor brother Emilio Estevez have confronted Rob
Lowe and ordered him to end his bitter feud with their dad Martin Sheen.
MARTIN with his sons Emilio (left) and Charlie.
"Rob Lowe has been throwing a fit on the set of NBC's 'West Wing' because the
show has been changed to star Martin Sheen instead of Rob," revealed an
insider.
Rob's role has been dramatically reduced and he's been angrily complaining to
producers and talking behind Sheen's back on the set.
Rob has demanded a trailer as big as Martin's, more time off and better lines
-- all because he's jealous.
But when Sheen brothers Charlie and Emilio heard what was going on, they got in
Rob's face and told him to lay off their dad, who has known his co-star since
Rob was a kid.
Charlie was first. "He visited the set one day, pulled Rob aside and told him
to get his ego under control," said the insider.
Next came Emilio, who is closer to Rob than Charlie. "He told Rob, 'Stop acting
like a jerk. You're upsetting my father,' " said the insider.
When Lowe was signed for "West Wing," execs told him the entire show was going
to center around him. But Martin Sheen was so good in his role as President
that execs rewrote scripts to feature him.

FAST FACT!
Rob Lowe is deaf in his right ear.

After his talk with Emilio, "Rob still didn't listen. He told execs: 'This is
my show,' " said the insider.
But fed-up execs turned the tables on Rob and threatened to fire him!
That stunned Rob into silence, but no one believes it solved the problem.
NBC's White House has as much controversy in it as the real one!

Not only is Sheen good (though he has similar
sceney-chewing impulses that John Lithgow has
on THIRD ROCK), but Lowe is not. I don't know if
it's him or the direction or the scripts,
but Lowe almost always comes off as the
weakest actor in the bunch (next to Moria
Kelly).

Rob needs to pipe down and count his many blessings. After his whole
"sex tape" scandal, a bunch of flops, and the Academy Award/Snow White
debacle, he should be thankful he's working in Hollywood at all.
Steve <------------ Who would count it an honor to be Martin Sheen's co-
star. (And Hollywood-size paychecks would be nice, too.)

Before you buy.
Now, if only TPTB on "Judging Amy" would figure out that the wonderful Tyne
Daly is the main reason people tune in to that show.

Annie RU
the part was originally offered to Olympia Dukakis, and everyone there is
relieved that she passed.

at least everyone seems to agree that moira's the most useless of the entire
cast.
i think the problem with rob IS the scripts he's given. when it focuses on just
him things get very wishy washy. i like lisa edelstein, but the plotline with
her hooker character is going nowhere. they either need to do something with it
fast or lose it.
the times that i notice rob is best is when he's in scenes with brad whitford
and...the actor who plays "toby" whose name i've totally forgotten right now.
the three of them work very well together.
but, then, brad's the biggest surprise of them all for me. i never much cared
for him, but he's become my favorite of the cast.
