magazine in the world, announced today that actress Jennifer Garner
(``Alias'') has been selected as their ``Hottest Woman.'' Rounding out
the Top 10: Spiderman's Kirsten Dunst (#2); Destiny's Child Beyonce
Knowles (#3); Van Wilder's Tara Reid (#4); ``Dark Angel's'' Jessica Alba
(#5); model Gisele Bundchen (#6); Oscar® winner Halle Berry (#7); pop
sensation Christina Aguilera (#8); The Matrix sequels Monica Bellucci
(#9) and Joleene Blalock from ``Enterprise'' (#10).
Garner joins former #1 picks, Estella Warren (2000) and Jessica Alba
(2001). Editor in Chief Keith Blanchard says of this year's top pick,

years biggest movies, including Daredevil, with Ben Affleck, and Steven

Each year MAXIM chooses 100 of the hottest up-and-coming women of the
year in film, television, music, sports and fashion. ``The 'Hot 100' is
MAXIM's annual roundup of the year's most intriguing new women in
entertainment,'' says Keith Blanchard. ``Whether they're newcomers about
to break it big or already famous but breaking new ground, these are the
girls who are on the move. And we love to watch them move.''
The ``Hot 100'' has proven accurate in the past as MAXIM first brought
such stars to our attention as Jessica Alba who MAXIM placed on the HOT
100 at #8 (2000) when ``Dark Angel'' was a brand new show, Shannon
Elizabeth at #5 (2000) who had only appeared in one major film and
Penelope Cruz who debuted at #15 (2000) when her film career was just
beginning on this side of the Atlantic.
FOX television shows account for nine of the ``Hot 100'' girls,
significantly more then any other television network. The true surprise
comes from E!, where three of their stars appear on the list (Brooke
Burke, Aisha Tyler and Jules Asner), more then NBC, ABC and CBS
combined.
The MAXIM ``Hot 100'' supplement (complete list is attached) is
currently available with the May issue of MAXIM featuring the Scorpion
King star Kelly Hu (#17 on the ``Hot 100'') on the cover.

Isn't that what most of these things are? (Although in fairness, if it

Me either, but since I'm not in her target demographic I wont deny she might
be considered hot to sixteen year old boys.To me JG is just another
unpleasantly underfed young girl with odalesque eyes, a semi-evolved valley
girl voice and some questionable facial alteration. (This according to BH
cosmetic surgery expert who emails regularly. She had to explain to me who
Jennifer Garner is because though I watched the show a couple times early
on, I liked it's "Buffy Joins the CIA," only without the wit, feeling, but I
drifted away the same reason I'm missing a lot of shows, because, I've
started working out at a new 24/7 gym, and I'm stalling on buying a TIVO
because I'm having guitar lust again. I've fallen in love with an Acoustic
Rickenbacker 700C/12 Comstock 12-string with a Firglow finish. (Digressing
badly--I can't seem to find a dealer who has one, "Even Musicans Friend"
who said they could order it for me, said it only came in Natural finish.
Wrong. I want the Fireglow finish, which I just saw reviewed in "Acoustic
Guitar World". If anyone could help please email me at Ambrose_Meineke at
