Vasquez has remixed her to a listenable level.

--IF you want divas at your party, you have to be ready with the right drinks.
At Thursday night's Clickradio.com party at Exit, Star Jones showed up early.
Spies said "The View" co-host sat down and asked for champagne. When the
waitress proferred a bottle of Taittinger, Jones declared: "I don't drink this
stuff! I drink the real stuff - Cristal!" The Clickradio staff ordered the $350
bottle, but the Exit staff demanded a credit card to open a tab before they
delivered the bubbly. Jones' rep laughed at this account. "Please - Star only
drinks Veuve Cliquot, and there was no problem with that," she said. Later on
that night, partygoers were concerned that Foxxy Brown had hurt herself when
she tried to catch Sisqo's act and tripped on her Gucci high heels on the way
from the green room, falling down a flight of stairs. But it was a case of
mistaken identity: Brown was at the top of the stairs laughing away as her
rep's assistant, Merilyn Mitchell, took the plunge. Mitchell is fine. Meanwhile
the Village People, with all the original characters except the Biker man,
promised they were coming out with a new album "soon" after they obliged the
crowd with "YMCA."

--"IN some ways Ed [Burns] finds it a pain in the neck, but on the other hand,

dancer. The trial date is Sept. 1.

--TEEN queen Rachel Leigh Cook has paired off with Brandon Davis, son of former
Paramount chief Martin. The two have been seen together all over L.A., most
recently arm-in-arm at the launch party for Tommy Hilfiger's new fragrance at
Hollywood's North Bar. The star of "She's All That" then left - alone - to film
"Tangled," which she's co-producing in Toronto. Cook's rep said the two are
just friends.

RUSH AND MOLLOY...NY DAILY NEWS...
--Jerry Seinfeld and Jessica Sklar can take a giant step toward becoming
parents. They now have a little nephew on whom to practice. On Thursday,
Sklar's sister, Rebecca Shalam, and brother-in-law Ari became the proud parents
of a boy. It's the couple's first; they named him Jacob Liam. No doubt the
Seinfelds will have a leg up on everyone else by the time they go to baby
classes and the instructor hands them a plastic doll to diaper.

--Britney, Mandy . . . Mandy, Britney. Who knows the difference? Certainly not
some of the fans in Times Square the other night when teen singer Mandy Moore
showed up with MTV veejay Brian McFayden at the grand opening of Bar Code. As
she walked into the 24-hour-a-day high-tech arcade, fans started shouting,
"Britney!" Maybe they were confused by Moore's blond hair, but many people sure
thought she was that other pop star, Spears. By the way, Britney eventually did
show at the party and she proceeded to try her hand at many of the video games,
including the driving-simulator motorcycle. Joining her and Moore at the event
were Carson Daly and girlfriend Tara Reid, Duncan Sheik, Damon Dash, Tom
Fontana, Dean Winters, Granville Adams and Frankie Rayder. Funny, but I don't
recall anyone shouting "Mandy!" at Britney.
