Picard provides several clues regarding the *WATCHER'S* true identity.
While Q is being his usual vague self, his pronouncements indicate that
he wants Picard to find forgiveness or penance, and that this fascist
world was birthed through human decisions. Based on these factors,
someone from Picard's past will soon join the cast of Star Trek: Picard
season 2 as Q's *WATCHER*, and the likeliest suspect is a man named Adam
Soong. Although Adam is a new character, he is played by actor Brent
Spiner, and is clearly an ancestor of the 22nd-century criminal
geneticist Arik Soong and the 23rd-century *CYBERNETICIST* Dr. Noonian
Soong, who created Data. All these characters were played by Spiner
throughout Star Trek. In short, it's likely that Spiner will be
