How can you tell when these Republican are lying? When their lips move. Remember their WMD lies which led to the Iraq war? And then these guys never seriously committed to go after Bin Laden, they just wanted a war for Iraqi oil. Al-Qaeda was just something they used for partisan political purposes only. The good of our country did not and still does not figure into their thinking.
It's obvious to me, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and all other Republicans do not see themselves as servants of the people who vote for them, they see themselves instead as loyal servants, and yes even puppet of those Koch brother wing-nut billionaire types who would just as soon see America collapse while they profit from our demise.
When Obama took office, our entire economy was in free fall, and Republicans were openly gleeful to see our auto industry collapse. They really wanted to see American auto workers drop dead. They don't like workers in our country, we have too many rights, as they see it, they want to see all of our good jobs exported to other countries like China, where workers have absolutely no rights. Now Ryan is lying thru his teeth, saying that Obama was responsible for a closed auto plant in his hometown, that plant closed before Mr. Obama took office.
Let's face it, the Republican party has turned into the party of hate, and the party of lies.
They hate women, they hate African Americans, they hate Hispanic Americans, they simply hate all people of color, and they hate the elderly, they hate the sick, they hate the poor, and they just plain hate anyone who is not rich, white and corrupt like them. Aside from their usual ugly and thoughtless rhetoric towards minorities, it is also all of their policies, designed to stick it to all of these minority groups.
Here is how you can decipher the truth from these guys, since they constantly lie. All of their lies are the EXACT opposite of the truth. The EXACT OPPOSITE! When Lyin Ryan says he wants to save Medicare, he really wants to destroy it. These guys are pretending to be the defenders of Medicare, but they are doing everything they can to kill it.
Lyin Ryan pretends to be a deficit hawk, but he wants to cut the taxes of rich people by more than 4 trillion dollars in 10 years, while at the same time he is proposing only about 1 and a half trillion dollars in spending cuts. You do the math. His policies will increase the deficit, not decrease it.
Their idea of privatising Medicare is a horrible idea, and it has been proven to be a horrible idea, time and time again, every time it has been done, in this country, and elsewhere. For example, we already have Medicare Advantage, which is a privatized version of Medicare, and it is far more expensive than the government version of Medicare. America already has the most privatized health care system in the world and, as a result, we also have, by far, the highest health costs because of it. Vouchercare will only result in even higher costs and lower benefits for seniors.
The only thing Republicans are concerned about is to enrich their masters, the heath insurance CEOs, the already rich health insurance industry, who want to repeal Obamacare, so it will end all the benefits to the American people, Republicans want to bring back the denial of health care based on "pre-existing conditions", and they want the elimination of the "doughnut hole" in drug coverage, and on and on. Suffice it to say, Republicans are the true enemy of the American people and the true enemy of the middle class.
