I just opened a packet of potato crisps (UK) / chips (US), and on the
back in the small print along with the usual garbage about not
containing nuts and so on, it says:
"Caution. Packaged in a protective atmosphere."
Eh?

Perhaps they're afraid that it has led too sheltered a life and will
not know how to handle stressful situations like being eaten.
