Apparently I am an "urban warrior"

See CTC web site article "What makes women cycle?" Link at www.ctc.org.uk

"More and more people promoting cycling are catching on to this and
marketing specifically to women via positive images of women of all ages and
backgrounds cycling in 'everyday' clothing doing 'everyday' things - you
don't have to don the Lycra and be an urban warrior just to go to the
shops."

I am an urban warrior! Hear me *roar* my battle cry to the unobservant
motorist: "W*nker!"

And Note to self: Must try cycling whilst carrying out more of those
everyday tasks...

washing up
laundry
cooking
having a bath
clipping toenails
visiting the loo

I think I see a need for a unicycle ;-)

Cheers, helen s

Your favorite cry reminds me....again...of one of the songs we do in the
band...there actually is a place here in Oregon, not far from where I live,
called Wanker's Corner! Of course, the people there call it "Wonker's
Corner", but you can't escape the spelling! So, it only took a local
songwriter to come up with the song about Wanker's Corner and of course,
Jonathan, in the band, had to learn it...."...it's just a one horse town
with a one hand name....."! Always a hit when we sing it...the last line
is....."There's a friendly little sign just around the bend..."leavin'
Wanker's...come again!"
Great song!
