The paper seems to have been a list of all the usual 1970s fossil PR talking points.

It had passed the editorial board of a Springer journal that has no history of publishing climate science -- a tactic previously used by
various entitites well known to Desmog and similar groups.

Springer promises a full and transparent investigation of how the material came to be published.

Bzzzt. You have kornfuzed weather stations with the USA.

Weather stations change locations pretty much every year. The USA doesnt.
In one year all the weather stations could be by the coast.
The next year they could all be on top of Mt Washington.

Serial Dimwits dont take that into account.

In 1895 there were 2200 weather stations
with les than 20% above 500m.

In the 2020s there are 15000 weather stations
and 35% of them are above 500m.

500m in elevation makes a 5 deg C diff in temperature at the same lat/long.

You and you dimwit friends dont seem to understand this and keep makin the same dumb moves.

Tsk tsk tsk.

They think being misleading is being clever and maybe they can make some money like the 3 piece suit shills.

But there is no target audience so if they get paid it'll just be an unforced error on the part of carbon.

Not as good as DeSantis swindling the old guard GOP but still funny.
