Why does China get a free pass here from the AGW believers ?

All you people do is fawn all over China for saying they will do great
things yet people here rarely ever mention how bad the pollution is even
tho it's in the news from time to time. Here silence from the believers
is all I see.

They are the worlds BIGGEST PRODUCER of Co2.

They use more coal than anyone else

They build more coal fired power plants than anyone else.

Why is no one trying to get China to do anything about it ?

If Co2 is really that big of a problem, than WHY is no one going after
the worlds biggest emitter of it ?

We are told over and over again that the US has to stop using coal, yet
no one says that about China, WHY ?

You all seem focused on the USA and literally no one else it seems.

Why is no one at the un, or ipcc calling them out for it and why is no
one trying to get them to change ?

IS it because you lovers of red flags and socialism/communism LOVE the
way they run their country ? (top down central control of economy and
personal freedom)

ANYONE have an honest answer ?

Yes I have an answer. You are full of crap.Negotiations between
nations are on going . When China makes improvement, and it is
noticed, you come out with really stupid things, such as :IS it because
you lovers of red flags and socialism/communism LOVE the way they run
their country ? (top down central control of economy and
personal freedom)".

China is not a socialist country.Much of Europe is socialist. You have
no idea of what the IPCC does,do you?

money so they will never stop harping and trying to goad the US into

the UN. Too dangerous for Hansen trying to make headlines in Beijing

For 3 reasons:

1. The economic recession (which is now hitting China)
2. The low price of natural gas
3. Government regulations on coal

Per capita sucks. I doubt you even know what it means. Move all the
Chinese here and watch per capita plummet. It's the area which counts
and how many people it affects. Not how many you assign to the total
emissions.

Why do you think China is a communist country.?

They have private companies, stock markets. Multinationals spreading
round the world. A huge number of millionaires and billionaires. There
is a huge disparity in wealth between the rich and the poor and between
cities and countries.
People are free to come and go.
They are *not* a democracy and they don't have many of the human rights
that some western countries have. They also have less people in jail
compared to the USA(that's absolute, not pro rata).
Their government calls itself a 'communist' government, but what does
that mean? It's just a fig leaf. Compare them to China under Mao or to
Cuba. Power is exercised by a small class of people and carefully
controlled and passed on - It looks like an oligarchy to me.

It's well known that they subsidise. They can't be doing much otherwise
how is it that they make huge profits and have had a ~10% growth rate
for ~25 years.

All countries subsidise things. Look at the USA subsidising the farming
sector and Steel.

"Officially, China is still labeled by the West as a communist country.
But in reality, it is different than that. The present day communist
China is totally different from what it was 30 to 50 years ago (during
the leadership of Mao Tse Tung). In political textbooks, Communism is
defined as a form of government where the very way of life of an
individual living in such a communist state is based on everything
common to all people within the state (hence the word commune, where the
word communism had its root). This means common dwelling, schools, food,
medical care, transportation, etc.. In essence, everything is owned by
the state and there is no such thing as private property or private
ownership. The farm that you till belongs to the state, the cattle that
you raise belong to the state, the goods you produce belong to the
state, the house where you live belongs to the state, etc.. You, as a
person have no right to own anything for yourself, as everything belongs
to the state. Clearly this is a very restrictive, reclusive, and
oppressive society. This is what China was 30 to 50 years ago.
The present day China is not like that anymore. Now, people can buy and
own houses, cars, DVDs, computers, jewelries, fancy clothes, etc.. They
are now allowed to travel anywhere, study or travel abroad if they can
afford it. They can start and operate their own business enterprises and
keep the profits from it, although the exception to this are major
public utility enterprises like power generation, transportation,
telecommunication, which are still state-owned enterprises (or
semi-government, with private entities owning parts of these enterprises).
So in reality, China nowadays is a capitalist-driven economy. Its people
don't refer to themselves as communists anymore, but as private Chinese
citizens. Most of the West however, is still accustomed to the old way
of referring to China and its people as Communist (which always comes
with the negative connotation associated with that word)."

You have the wrong idea about US subsidies,
they pay farmers not to plant in order to avoid
over-supply, not to control price.

Steel is a critical war material, it has to
be kept viable, we can't depend on imported
steel.
The government has warehouses full
of other critical war materials that are
easier to use in manufacturing, there is
too many types of steel and no way
to know which one will be needed, so
not much is stocked like everything
else is, even industrial diamonds and
morphine.

Communism is an ideology, not a form
of government, China isn't much different
than Germany in WWII, if it calls itself
communist, it is communist, the same
as Russia.

Cuba is different in that it has no
industry to be much of anything.

It is a dictatorship run by a communist clique,
is there some reason other than gullibility that
causes you to claim otherwise?

Both China and Russia have taken wealth
away for political reasons, anybody that goes
there should be wary of their risk.

It's very simple AM, just vote in the next Chinese election for the
party of your choice.
What do you mean, you can't vote? And there is no party of your choice?

"While universal franchise is guaranteed in principle by the
Constitution, in practice the Communist Party of China maintains full
control of the entire electoral process. In practice, only members of
the Communist Party of China, eight allied parties, and sympathetic
independent candidates are ever elected in any election beyond the local
village level."

I am beginning to think there are AGW people
who would like to live in China.

Only members of the Party are ever
elected to national office, how does that
work, do they have a way to dissuade a
person from running?

People in the US are still too well-off. They need to experience far
more economic downturn than they already have. Everyone ought to have a
carbon footprint similar to the hundreds of millions of rural peasants
in India and Communist China. Except for Mr. Scrotie, and limousine
liberals everywhere, of course.

Americans must outsource your jobs to dirty coal-powered factories in
Communist China. Americans must import their manufactured goods. After
all they are dirt cheap; and all Americans can afford these days is cheap.

A dictatorship doesn't permit dissent. And that's the way Scrotie likes it.

Tundy was also, according to him,a paid person, working for the NDP

something happened to him. Maybe he got hit with a rock, but something
must account for his mental illness.

Maybe; but there is certainly mental illness pervading these people. No-one can look at the facts and warp them to such a different schema without something not going well in their minds.

This is the same tundy you are talking about as posts here, isn't it? The one who stalked me and exposed me as a plumber working in Falmouth, isn't it?
