No one can ever accept the fact that Cuba has one of "the best"
healthcare systems on this planet. Why? Because they crank out
general practioners, and they have them on every block and they are as
"a service" to "the people". The take care of the ordinary illnesses
that families deal with daily. We brag about our technology , but
what good is that if a kid is dying from measles and his mom and dad
can't afford to take him to the emergency room.

When did a "kid die of measles" in Canada recently ?
This is total hyperbolic nonsense.

So choose any other ailment. Can't answer the question?

When someone pays for what you want or need, they decide when they will pay
for what you want or need and they can and will decide not to pay for what
you want or need. And when they decide not to pay, you are shit out of
luck. When you pay for what you want or need, you decide if you will pay
for what you need. When you depend on someone to give you what you want,
you are no different than a child. The only difference is a child has no
"choice" in the matter. Whereas, an adult does have a choice in the matter.
So, the question that you should be asking is do you want to be treated like
a child, or like the adult you are. Finally, it is a question of how
important our freedoms are. If our freedoms are not that important, then
you should support someone paying for what you want or need. If our
freedoms are important, then you should oppose having someone pay for what
you want or need. Because the government who is one of the big payers for
this service, is going to want to pay as little as possible, so they WILL
infringe on our individual freedoms.

The path is clear, and the choice is ours to make.
