THE ULTIMATE WEAPON IS OUR OWN STUPIDITY
Captain Ike Keifer wrote in the “Strategic Studies Quarterly” that we should “Imagine if the US military developed a weapon that could threaten millions around the world with hunger, accelerate global warming, incite widespread instability and revolution, provide our competitors and enemies with cheaper energy, and reduce America’s economy to a permanent state of recession.” He says “We are already building that weapon—it is our biofuels program.”
Our military has been purchasing bio-jet fuel for $59 and more per gallon while ordinary jet fuel costs $3.73 a gallon. Biofuel advocates brag that this wild spending will not be affected by the sequester. Biofuel promoters still proclaim that biofuels are our nation’s future despite the millions already killed worldwide by biofuel created food cost inflation and the fact that all attempts at making affordable biofuels from cellulose and algae have been dismal failures. Our politicians skyrocketed the price of food by mandating biofuels and now they plan to cut food stamps that America’s poor need to survive.
On a positive side, seven scientists from three universities have published an independent study of Andrea Rossi’s Low Energy Nuclear Reaction reactor (AKA cold fusion) and found that it works as promised. Rossi’s competitor, Defkalion, plans a public demonstration of their advanced LENR reactor design this August. Lockheed Martin has a new hot fusion reactor design it claims will provide electricity at ultra-low cost. These products do not require mandates or subsidies, and they produce energy continuously, 24-7-365.
