I note that the GoG is to make an explanatory leaflet setting out the issues
before the electorate as regards the proposed constitution, prior to the
vote. I also note that the GSLP has decided to receommend the constitution -
will wonders never cease? Joe Bosanno is HAPPY??? My goodness!

Would it not be appropriate for the Govt and the Opposition to get together
and produce the leaflet jointly? This is after all an issue which transcends
party politics. It would also be yet another lesson that Gib teaches the UK,
this time in consensus politics having taught them often enough about
democracy! Such a consensus leaflet would also dispell conspiracy theorists
and any useless argment that may arise if it is the product of a single
party.

Further, would it not be appropriate for the leaflet to be made available
on-line so that those outside Gib who are interested can read / download at
leisure? Surely this cannot be difficult to do - it will be produced
electronically, how difficult can it be to get that same DOC file and turn
into a PDF? There is no issue of copyright here!
