Yes it is. However it depends on how you might do your trip from Seville to
Gib. By bus it takes you aprox. 4 hours. Best leave Seville as early as
possible, otherwise organize yourself an overnight stay in Gib or elsewhere
in the Campo region. Gib's worth the visit. Before going there, plan which
historical sites you might wish to visit.

Wow, thanks for the super quick reply.

I have been to Gib before, it's just that a group of us are going on a long
weekend to Seville, I would love to persuade them to experience Gib, as I
agree it's well worth the visit.

Though it is perfectly possible to get there and back and spend some time in
Gib I would advise you do so by hire car. Organised day tours from Spain
leave you very little time in Gib. Most arrive around 10 am and leave around
2-3pm. With your own car you can come and go as you please, at times that
suits you.

Parking in Gibraltar is a very big problem. Best park in Spain within a
short distance of the border and walk across. From just inside Gib you can
get a bus to leave you at the entrance to the old town for (I think) 1 Euro
each. Some of the buses (no 10?) will also take you to the coach park where
you can get a tour of the upper rock by mini bus or taxi.

Enjoy.

Super quick? You caught me online doing some shopping for Zarzuela and
Flamenco DVD's. And don't mention it, it's my pleasure all the same.

Gib has much to offer from a historical perspective. Of course, I know only
too well what a splendid arqueological museum you have in the vicinity of
Parque Maria Luisa. Beautiful spot indeed. Back to Gib, I'd take the
cable-car ride to the summit, enjoy the views from this unique spot. Then
make my way down on foot to St Michael's Cave, then the Apes' Den, keep
marching it's all downhill! Eventually you'll come to the Moorish Castle,
before then you will come across some other interesting military spots
dating from WWII.
