Satellite/cable tv

When I visted the rock hotel on tv they had all 5 uk channels as well most
of sky and spain's national channels and local gbc
Can some one tell me if it was via satellite or cable?

What tv system do you use Pal I?
Why don't people have 1metre dishes?
Is GBC only on cable?
When is Gibraltar going digital widescreen tv's in the shops?

No thats the UK, we use B/G so we can watch Spain.

I have a couple of them, put one up specially to receive
the shuttle relay from NASA via ESA

No

VHF Channel 6 and 12
UHF Channels 32, 53 and 56

They are looking at digital, although there is no real advantage
GBC did run a widescreen film last week. Most people are
now buying 16:9 sets to watch DVD's on. Flat panels are
becoming afordable.
