Two recent international, military-related, news articles have made
unnecessary mention of Gibraltar. Is this kind of reporting welcomed by the
"locals"?

If the story in the Sunday times is true, and recently there has
been signs of military aircraft high up in the straits, there is
nothing we or anyone can do about training flights in international
airpspace.

There certainly have not been any aircraft seen on the ground, and
in the case of the military airfield here its hard to hide anything
the setup being closer to town than Area 51 is to Las Vegas.

Theres a theory that all publicity is good publicity and since the
Gibraltar story hit the headlines and newsgoups, traffic on my
website is up, because a lot of people will go to Google and type
in 'where is Gibraltar' so to the extent that they will discover
an answer, its all good.

Whats the other story ??
