Why not convert part of the old water cachement area into an artificial
ski-slope.

We already have a cable car up one side and it could continue down the
other.

No its a nature reserve and the home of the rare water
catchment vole, the Clethrionomys Calpense. It only comes
out to breed when there is a full moon over Sotogrande.

The full moon effect over Sotogrande is mitigated by the roof top solar
panels for moon-light collection so they won't breed anymore.

How about a giant water slide into the bay instead? Whizz whizz wheee.

Theres an idea, you could build that on the west side above camp bay
using the outfall from Glen Rocky.

While Glen Rocky distillery produces something very drinkable, its name
suggests something rather more potent than the reality!

Some would agree with you. Certainly when the bare sand beneath was exposed,
previously supported by the wooden frames, some landslips occurred causing
some damage to cars and buildings below. However since the regrowth of
vegetation there, the sand is once more stable. Thanks to inaccessibility,
there are some rare things growing there. Were it in the K the dune would
ahve been classified as a SSSI.
