If you ask the local police about it the word 'crap' figures

And yet the home office in the uk are going for it in a big way. it's
only been 13 years since the last of the home office repeaters moved
off band II to make way for classic FM.

One thing going for it is that all the emergency services are
intergrated on one comm's system.
