NEW YEARS EVE IN GIBRALTAR
The night will kick off at 10.30pm with Steve Adams, who will get
things going whilst people arrive, and will go on until approximately
11.15pm when we shall have FUNKDACION, a funk band complete with Brass
section, who will really get the party mood going until just before
the midnight countdown, the fireworks display and masses of white
confetti.
Local band JETSTREAM (Nolan Frendo, Dylan Ferro, Justin Pou, Stuart
Whitwell) & guests will then play until approximately 2am, when there
will be a transition between band and DJs doing a number together
initially. The DJ's, with singer included, will continue till the end.
The Celebrations will be held on Wednesday 31st December 2008 at
Casemates Square from 10.30pm to 3am. GBC will be televising the event
‘live’ between 11.30pm and 1am.
