Happy to sell out Gib, but won't sell out the Falklands because there is

Of course. This we have known for some time - many years in fact. The UK has
over the centuries tried to divest herself of Gib but Spain has been at the
same time too incompetent to take advantage of the offer. Lately Gib has
become more savvy than either the UK and Spain put together.
The UK's 1st, 2nd and 3rd law of UK-Gib-Sp relations is:
"Let us not do anything that might upset our good friends and allies, the
Sp, and to hell with the rest."
