If the Spanish claim that the Isthmus was never ceded in the Treaty of
Utrecht and is in dispute, doesn't this mean that the rest of Gibraltar
was ceded to Britain in the treaty and is not in dispute?

YOU know that and I know that, but try telling it to THEM - and the UK,
which will bend over backwards and sell out her grandmother lest she offend
Spain!

Thats why the Brussels agreement refers to the issues of sovereignty
- Spain wants it both ways.

The claim to the isthmus is simply trying to get a foot in the door
for the rest.
