Right. Grandecom.net, my ISP, uses Supernews for their news service. Funny
thing is I had just signed up for a trial run around the time I joined
Grandecom.net. Of course I canceled my trial run when I finally looked at the
header and found that I was already on Supernews.
You on giganews? They are one of the best but thenet.cafe.chatter is not worth
$11 a month to me. Especially when I can get it on other free news servers. I
may ask for it on Supernews again some time in the future.
Please do me a big favor. Ask them, gigganews, to add the newsgroup
alt.tv.court-tv to their news server. You may recall the group from alt.config.
I am helping Linda get it up and running. Supernews just added it. I have ask
the German news server, news.individual.net, to add it but with no luck up to
now. They have added several newsgroups since I requested it. I think Linda
said she requested it before I did so it does not look good right now.

By all means try to get it on AOL. With their thousands of subscribers there
are bound to be a few people interested in alt.tv.court-tv. In fact get it on
as many news servers as you can. Right now it is on some free servers and
Supernews as far as I can tell. Your capabilities are far beyond my puny
abilities. I will have to try and learn.
The group has only been in existence since 8/6/2003.
Now, you must have known this was coming, could you do the same with
alt.misc.friends ? I have no idea how many servers it is on either.
I am going to e-mail this to Linda so she will know what is going on. Hope you

I have just requested, once again, that ne...@uni-berlin.de add the group. They
usually add groups on short order or tell you why they will not. They have done
neither with alt.tv.court-tv. The next day or two will tell.
I went to the

and ask them to add alt.tv.court-tv and in return they sent two inquires as to
who I was because I was not on their list of customers. I just kept quite. They
did not add it either. :-)
