CAPE CANAVERAL (Rueters) --
It has now been confirmed that there
is NO intelligent life anywhere in the
Milky Way Galaxy.

It was long thought that there might
be a wee bit of intelligence on earth
but this turned out to be an ugly rumor,
said researchers Stephen Hawking
and Ed Conrad in a joint statement.
<
"We wanted to make an exception
for earth but, after examining the pros
and cons, we both decided against it,"
wrote Hawking, the famous cosmologist
and holder of the Guinness Record for
Highest IQ (228).

Ed Conrad, infamous discoverer
of Man as Old as Coal and Proof of
Life After Death, agreed and said
he believes that the Supreme Bean
now knows He really blew it while
creating this part of the Universe.

"I really feel sad for the Old Man
because of all the hard work He put
into making the MiIky Way," noted
Conrad. "But, I'm sure He's taking it
all in stride, shrugging his shoulders
nd saying, "Hell, you win some. You
lose some."

Hawking and Conrad have been
working together on this project for
months and, when their individual
IQs are lumped together, they add
up to an astounding 289.
