I need anybody's help on this. Is TAY a Scottish last name? I know there
is a river in Scotland called Tay. The river is 193 km east of central
Scotland (I believe), flowing into North Sea through Loch Tay and Firth of
Tay. I am greatly intrigued if there are naturalized Scots with the last
name TAY. If TAY isn't exactly a Scottish last name, could it be derived
from longer last name -- could it be related to perhaps the TAYLORS?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
