Birth Certificates to be Available at County Offices

The below listed article was posted in The Dallas Morning News Newspaper,
page 23A:

Certified Texas birth certificates can be obtained in Dallas County
beginning Thursday, February 1, 1996, from eight of the county's justices
of the peace offices. Currently, birth certificates in Dallas County can
only be obtained from Dallas City Hall and the county's clerk office in
downtown Dallas. Those two offices will continue to issue the records
under the new plan. Justices of the peace offices that will issue birth
certificates are in Farmers Branch, Irving, Dallas, Richardson, Garland,
Mesquite, Grand Prairie and Lancaster.
