I also received an invitation to purchase a “Surname here”
Family Yearbook from my relatives, Maxwell and Christina in Colorado.
I even have one, courtesy of them.

When I received the invitation, I checked around on the Internet and
could not find any Maxwell or Christina Floore in any name search. I
was not surprised I did find several references to this Family
Yearbook offer. That prompted me to contact the Denver Area BBB to
inquire about the offer and possible scam implications. They sent my
letter to Maxwell and Christina, who, in turn, wrote to me and sent a
free yearbook. The yearbook was everything I knew it would be. The
BBB was no help.

I am collecting copies of other invitations for ‘Surname
Here’ Family Yearbooks to present to the proper authorities (not
the BBB this time). If you have one, I would like a copy. Email me
for my mailing address.

I have posted a copy of my invitation and a few representative sheets
of the yearbook on a special page of my genealogy website:

www.geocities.com/Heartland/Meadows/5110/scams.html

I look forward to hearing from you.

I've misplaced my last invitation from Maxwell & Christine
McMASTERS[?] who have been trying to sell me ELBRECHT 'data' for
years. While I was out on the web, I thought I'd google "Maxwell &
Christine" . ..

Hey, we both must be related to the SCISMs who have the same set of
ancestors in their invite;

Maxwell & Christine WOOLUM get [dis]honorable mention on this site;

Some interesting comment on the SHREVES, DILLARD & SISSOM offers at

[along with an old Eastman Newsletter article on Halberts of Bath]

The McConathy's call it a scam at;

And the GEIGER's note it at

Not bad for 20 minutes on the string 'Maxwell and Christina'.<g>
www.google.com returns several more under Morphcorp--- but I've
already lost interest in them.

Too bad it's a scam. It's a nice idea. Only thing is, with pc's we can do it
ourselves now. ;-)
