Yes, you just to go to file, export file, and choose filename GEDCOM.
Click OK. Select PAF and GEDCOM 4.0 in case the recipient have a older
version of GEDCOM.

Have your source who E-mailed the FTW file do a conversion from within FTM
and then E-mail the GEDcom file to you.

Hi
I also use a different genealogy program. Sometimes you can ask the person to send
you a Gedcom instead of a .FTW, but at other times you may not wish to ask. The way
I handle the .FTW files is to use the demo version of FTM. The demo will load .FTW
files of any size and then you can create a Gedcom for import into your own program
(UFT in your case). You can get a copy of the demo at

You can download the demo copy of FTW from www.familytreemaker.com.
It is crippled so that you can only add about 20 names to a file but
it will take in a pre-existing file, such as the one you have, of any
size and once there you can create a Gedcom.
