Three additional antique maps of Hertfordshire have been placed on the
"Genealogy in Hertfordshire" web site at www.hertfordshire-genealogy.co.uk

They can be reproduced for free in your family history as long as you
correctly identify the map and acknowledge the web site.

John Norden's 1598 map from the 1903 reprint of " A Description of
Hertfordshire" [High res. version 2.11 MB]

Richard Blome's 1673 map - broken down into hundreds for downloading
convenience.

Emanuel Bowen's 1759 map - broken down into hundreds for downloading
convenience.

These have been added as part of a "spring clean" of the site (which
contains over 2000 pages and nearly 3000 images relating to Hertfordshire)
and over the next couple of months the map pages will be updated, with
additional maps added or rescanned at a higher resolution.

While the map images are free please consider making a suitable donation to
Mind (www.mind.org.uk) or some other mental health charity if you find them
useful.
