A Schoolbread by any other name

the geneaologists for generations in Fife Scotland. Now is your chance to
declare yourselves. I am searching for Grace Scoholbread, who married into
the virtually unheard-of Berry family name around the year 1800. I have
found 18 Schoolbreads comprising two family groups (apparently) in the LDS
database, and am wondering where the rest of you are.
If you have any clues to give me, your help would be greatly
appreciated.

The huge total of six Schoolbreads appeared in a search of the 1881 census,
all but one in a Hampshire based family of a naval officer born in Scotland,
who must have been posted to the port. The other one a servant in Edinburgh,
not a great deal of help in info provided.

Thanks for the help in traching Schoolbreads. I managed to locate
Grace, using the common name Grizel married in 1795 in Kennoway and in
Kettle (marriage registered in two churches just to be sure.) Apparently,
though it was a very rare name, there were several spellings including
SCHOOLBRED, SHOOLBREAD, SHOOLBRED, and SHOOLBRAID. Grizel herself used two
different spellings of her name on her two marriage registrations. Further
proof that it pays to check for spelling variations in database information
searches.
Thanks for the help. Information on other late 1700 Schoolbreads from
Kettle, or Kennoway Fife would be welcome.
