Reliability of information in Pennsylvania Deeds

We have a Beaver Co PA. deed from 1801 that states that John Miller is
from Washington Co Pa.
In the experience of other researchers, how much faith can we place in
his previous location as stated in the deed.
Can we derive any time period from that statement.
IE
-He traveled through Washington Co on his way to Beaver Co;
-He spent a couple of months there,
-Or he was a resident there for a couple of years.
I have a couple of similar situations, and am at a dead end on them all.
