I'm just curious about when peole came out.
I knew when i was 9-years old that I was Gay. My 45th birthday is in less than two weeks. Girls just didn't appeal to me! When I was 11, I met a boy who quickly became my best friend. Soon, we became intimate, and we celebrated our 13th birthdays together (he was 7-days older than I was) by engaging in sexual intercourse the first time. Just before our 15th birthdays, we both came out of the closet to our school friends, and a couple of weeks later, on our respective 15th birthdays, we came out to our families. There were only two of our classmates who found our relationship disturbing. But, the one person who really found it disturbing was my older sister. But then, we didn't have a very good relationship anyway! My boyfriend's family was Ok with us being lovers. My mother never said, as she was extremely ill at the time, and she would pass away seven months later. When I was 30, and just before he died, my father finally told me that it was ok that I was Gay.
My first lover and I were together for 14-years total since we met. He was killed in an accident almost exactly 20-years ago! I've had two other primary lovers since then, as well as eight other occasionaly lovers when I was between primary lovers.
When did anyone else come out to the world about your Homosexuality, and was it well received?

Like you, I always knew I was Gay. With me though, I have quite a lot of feminin characturistics. No, I don't speak with a lisp! Anyway, I had a boyfriend whom I was very close to since I was 6. When I was 9, I knew my feelings for him were more than just friendship. The best part? He had the same feelings toward me! It took a while, and it was more from not knowing what to do, but when we were 12, we had sex together! About 4, nearly 5, years ago, at Hallowe'en, we both attended a Hallowe'en party given by one of our classmates. That Hallowe'en was about a month from both our 14th birthdays (My boyfriend Chrissy was exactly 24-hours older than i was). But this night, at the party, and we planned this, we kissed each other. At the time, everything was cool with the kids there. There were several at school though who expressed their dislike for our relationship. We were actually threatened with death! But, for the most part, it was good.
As for our families, well, Chrissy only had a Mother. He never knew his Dad, who took off when Chrissy's Mom was pregnant. As for me, my Father died before I was born, and my Mother was killed when I was 4. I was raised by my Grandparents until my Aunt, my Mother's Sister, was 21 and could take over as my legal guardian. That happened when I was 9. Anyway, on our 14th birthdays, we had Chrissy's Mom and my Aunt together when we told them that we were lovers. Chrissy's Mother and my Aunt were both totally cool with our Homosexuality!
So, for the most part, ecept for the death threats from a few of the kids at school (the threats were religious based!), everything was good.
