As you may (or may not) have noticed, the past message was for Ben
Lesnick and Mr.Lesnick only, you could have figured that out by the big cap
letters on the topic that said "FOR BEN LESNICK", but then again, im the
silly kid who cant use a newsgroup, you are the mature and very experienced
man.
I dont care if you ever reply this, for i wont come to this newsgroup
again (for the sake of both of us), i signed to this newsgroup 2 days ago
to get some interesting chat about WC,just like most folks, but all you do
is try to correct people and look witty and smart (purpouse that you fail
to accomplish) showing your infinite knowledge in the vast universe of WC,
making the exchange of ideas really difficult. In the future, if you see
a message that does not call upon your attention for its subject or
content, try not to reply adding a few unneccessary details or at least do
it in a more suitable fashion. In case you like to pick up arguments, do it
with your nice friends who allways back you up when someone speaks to you .
I merely tried to see what all this newsgroup thing is about, the
concept is good but its full of guys like you who just are here to bother
other people. When i said that u need to get a life, i did meant that, you
seem to spent far too many time in this thing.
I now leave you to take more childish activities, such as playing video
games and discusing about it with my firiends and let you do you adult and
mature duties.

Quite right. Glad you got your capslock key unstuck here.

You just don't say cool and witty things like I do... :) - The Book of

Actually we're just here to annoy newbies, so we did accomplish our
purpose.

If people just replied to messages with their name in the subject we
wouldn't have much traffic. :)

Pick arguments with our friends? Hmm.. okay..

Yeah, tell that to all the people whose WC problems we solve every
day. :)

Ah, the youth !
In time, boy, you will learn how to appreciate feedback, whether
positive or negative. Thus, you can get a clear view on things, and not
get angry when someone corrects you (whether they are right or wrong).

Yes, go play your video games; and in the meantime, learn how to swallow
a thing called pride.

Humidity is man's best virtue

Dude :)

I'd take humility over humidity any day. Um, hope you don't mind that
correction. :)

There's a hip new invention called "e-mail" designed specifically for that
purpose. If you post to usenet, then that means the post is public, free
for all to read (and be annoyed by) its contents.

We've had a sample of your "ideas" in the "Fav" thread. I don't think
Casey's sexual preference is a particularly interesting 'idea' or
WC-related subject, so I for one probably won't miss your contributions to
this newsgroup.

You reacted idiotically to a simple correction made by Ben to one of your
posts. You displayed laughably bad nettiquete in doing so, and were rightly
flamed because of it. As it happens, Ben made a few errors in his
correction. He in turn was corrected, yet I don't see him getting upset
about it.

Ooh... Me want in! (Tarzan enough for you? ;) ) Of course, putting
"merry" in the same sentence with "Death" does look somewhat odd to

Personally, I am delighted that there are people out there who love WC as much
as I do. I AM Completely obsessed with it, even though it took a while.
The first Version of WC I played was the totally imposible and poorly made
version on the SNES. After playing WC2 on the PC, 3 years ago I have never
looked back, my knowledge is still increasing and I'm greateful to the people
here who have enlightened me on subjects in the short time I've been in this
Newsgroup. As for that certain individuals comments, I'm sorry he did not like
this NG, however I would say where he should stick his comments, but I don't
think its sutible viewing for people on this page.

It's kind of funny, I wouldn't find his comments a flame at all but
apparently that's how he intended them. Anyhow, I got the SNES WC1
about the same time as PC WC1. Both worked with each other to make me
appreciate Wing Commander more. :)

You have to get used to flying it with a game pad. Some of the

We need a recruitment campaign. Find someone to design a cool poster
and make some controversial PR statements, and we're off....

Well, the UberCrid has experience at that and the Baronshould be good at the
PR statements. Any ideas for catchy slogans and stuff?

Well, I'm sorry but I can't just pack my bags, jump on a plane and start a
new life in the US. Perhaps there should be a LOAFs Merry Guild Newsletter
to keep all the members up to date :)

Oh definately not. :) Not even close. This thread has a couple dozen
posts in it. There have been many threads with hundreds upon hundreds

Tolwyn wasn't bad, but we've had threads go on like that for weeks
rather than just a few days.
