Messineo Couriers-Defend Ex-Mining Base Querry

Gentlemen:
I have attempted the 20,000 defend mission but was not able to succeed
while I was expeditiously blowing away the Kindred fighter cover the
failure email came in early mid combat.
So my question: What should the targeting priority be and which
pirate ship or group of ships poses the greatest immediate threat to
the base?

I've never been able to pull this mission off either, but I've noticed that
two of the military destroyers there are actually hijacked ships. They still
show up as green on your radar, but they're focussing their fire on the
station. I think you can ID them as hijacked if you get close enough. IMO,
those are the two ships to worry about first. Those military grade lasers do
much more damage than a Kindred ship does.

if only , we had more the 5 secondes to do the 2 kill, it would give us a chance...
