How do I get my hands on Kraven Mk IV Lasers? I read in an FAQ somewhere
about doing a mission for Ralph McCloud, but I have completed the main
story line and not met anyone of that name.
Any help would be appreciated.

The Ralph McCloud email is random. Some people get it earlier in the
plot and others to get afterwards. He'll call you to Nav Point 57 and
his video sequences are on disc 2.

You have to save McCloud when he sends you a distress E-mail. This happens way
latter in the game

Normally, you get a distress call from McCloud. If you go save his
ass,and meet him at the Sinner's inn, he'll give you a set of Kraven MK
IV. From then on, you can purchase them in the booth

In article <34EB6B...@hotmail.com>,

I am not sure that the kravens are all that useful, given the heat they
generate. I have found it best generally to use all ion cannons and not have
to carry coolant modules. This gives unlimited firing capacity and no
overheating in the middle of a dogfight with half a dozen enemies!

It also leaves a module slot empty for something else. :)

Cheers,

Carl Graham

I usually have module slots left empty and I just fill them with
nukems. With a MarkIV Coolant Unit I almost never overheat and the
Kravens are noticeably more powerful than the Mass Ion Cannons.
