Buildings, even ruined buildings look better with window frames but they are not generally cheap.
German firm Auhagen offers packs of injection molded plastic windows at a very reasonable price. They are labelled HO/TT and they are a tad on the small side but within the realms of possibility for 1:76/1:72nd.
48 650 is a pack of about 70 6-pane windows with a few odd ones thrown in to about the same size, all suitable for 'cottages'. They come with 18 'shutters' so may be of use to wargamers.
48 551 is a pack of 'industrial windows' with a single pair of doors (32mm high and each 15mm wide) and a separate sprue of 'fittings' brackets and the like. There is also what I think is a corrugated iron awning, presumably to go with the brackets etc.
48 647 is a big pack of larger windows and some fittings (a through-the-wall fan for example)
Not expensive, a viable alternative to buying Dapol buildings just for the windows.
Cheers
Mike
