I've seen like spirit healers on the battlefield. I never paid much
attention to them but the other day when my lvl 47 holy priest was in
ZF one popped over my head. I died soon after. I was taking heavy
dmg and the offtank thought it more important to get in on the main
fighting than protect me. I simply told him that if he didn't protect
me i'd simply let him die. Anyway what is that big wihite cloud
thing.

It's called "Spirit of Redemption".
It's a talent in the priest holy tree.
And unless there was another holy priest in that ZF run, it's *your* talent.

You're asking *us* to explain one of *your* talents.

Heh, yeah like John said...

If it was you then the Off Tank would not have been able to protect
you as you are in what I would call "Stage 1 Death". You are dead but
you still ahve about 15 seconds to heal party members while being this
spirit. I call it an angel. After 15 seconds you are then in "Stage 2
Death", in other words now you are really dead.

Soo when you see this keep on healing as if you were still alive. Just
don't heal yourself because it won't work seeing as how you are
already dead.

This comes in handy in some dungeons and is great especially when
there is another handy who can heal or res, like a pally or shamy or
druid.

Get in a few heals on the tank or others and they just might finish
off the mobs/boss thusly avoiding a wipe and then res you.

Even without another healer available it can be great to heal some
more and at least take down the mobs or boss and avoid the wipe.

LMAO. I gotta hand it to you all, you are a very polite and helpful
group. This was an especially flameworthy post and you let him off
easy.

One thing to keep in mind too: heals are completely mana-free while on
SoR mode. I've seen 1 priest intentionally commit suicide towards the
end of one close fight because were were down to 5% left on the boss,
the tank was taking heavy damage, and he just didn't have enough mana
to keep it up. Suicide, angel pops up, and that bought him enough
time worth of unlimited spamming of heals for us to finish off the
fight. This was on one of the bosses in ZA if I remember right.
Can't remember for sure - might have been Nalorakk.

For the comparatively short time I've been here, I haven't really noticed
anyone going out of their way to be offensive. I don't think I've seen a
"well, with a 1251 arena rating..." post - one of the reasons I avoid the
official forum...

You aren't kidding. I do this *all* the time. The most prominent time
I remember is when we were first learning Gruul. When Gruul was at 5%
and grow #15 and I was oom, I actually went around looking for cave-
ins to run under.
