Horde players more mature than Alliance True or Myth?

Greetings,

I started playing WoW as an Alliance, mainly because my brother and
other friends started as Alliance although I always wanted to try a
Forsaken.

I've been playing for 3 years and I played both factions around all
kinds of realms. When I turned Horde I didn't look back to Alliance
until recently when I tried Dual-Boxing.

I would say that Horde players are more mature than Alliance
players... There is something in the Alliance that attracts kids so we
more annoyance there than we see in Horde.

I tend to like to play Horde for several reasons, here are some:

I get far less random group invites for no reason at all,

I hardly see slackers in a group or raid while in Alliance I see that
alot (one funny moment is when we asked a rogue why he stays stealth
and not fighting he says that he don't want to die.. I laughed my eyes
out)

I get far less random Guild invites and guild charter signature
request.

I get far less gold begging

Far less boost requests

Most kill steals end up with an apology, while in Alliance it seems
intentional with no apology at all

Never had someone ninja my mining or herb node while I'm busy killing
mobs around it while I get a lot in Alliance side.

Those are some of the points I love in Horde and hate about Alliance.
But what I hate about Horde is that they gank more often than Allies
in PvP realms, sure some people might find it fun to one-hit alliance
players in STV but I don't find it fun at all (tried a few times but
no fun there).

Going from Alliance to Horde for me is like going from PC to Mac, you
will never look back.

Myth. And this post is borderline trolling.

Myth? It's not on my servers, honestly. While Horde isn't the height of
maturity by any means, I DO see a lot more "anal [skill]" and crap like that
in Ally trade than I do on Horde trade...

It's not a myth but neither is it universally true. On many servers
the alliance side has a 2:1 or even 3:1 ratio of the active
population, as a consequence of that and little else they also have a
much larger population of kids. Traditionally the cutesy alliance
toons probably appealled to a certain type too.

I'd say that idiots and annoying people are everywhere. As are decent
people who are a pleasure to game with.

I thought it was a myth myself for a long time, but my experience does
match up tbh. Yes there's a lot of immature idiots on both sides, but
they're more noticeable on Alliance; my human rogue was forever
finding trade windows with locked boxes shoved in his face at the
mailbox, yet that's never happened once to my horde rogue (lower level
but still). I hardly ever get random invites for no reason on Horde,
used to get them all the time on Alliance; alliance side being
unguilded meant a constant stream of guild invite/charter spam (and
whispered abuse when you refused), horde side maybe 1-2 requests a day
(usually polite, most actually asked first!)

It's not universal, there are a lot of complete idiots on Horde side,
but I do feel Alliance has more of them, based on my own experience;
it's only one server, ok, but I certainly noticed it. Admittedly it
might help that Horde was very low population compared to Alliance
when i frst started playing there; the maturity level has gone down as
the population has gone up, but it's still better than I remember
Alliance being - even now when I log on an Alliance alt to check their
auction house the spam on trade tends to be cruder and more childish
than Horde side.

Annoying players on Horde and Alliance..nice players on Horde and
Alliance..this sort of thread seems to roll out every month with no
conclusion..opinions will differ from server to server..realm to
realm..person to person....but we carry on playing and the world(s) keeps
turning. I think 'trolling' is too stronger word...is there something
between legit and trolling to describe this neverending thread?

A couple other bits of anecdotal evidence for more maturity on horde
side:

A lot of what I see as immature behavior on horde side was introduced
when TBC came out and immature young'ins that had been alliance only
rolled Blood Elves and brought their behavior with them.

For a long time in BGs like AB and AV and WSG, Horde seemed to use
better team work and not panic and sacrifice self appropriately for the
BG goals more so than Alliance.

I sure have. In fact, if someone does that to me, I can almost
guarantee that it is a Horde Death Knight.

Or Belf which seem to appeal to brats and those more into looks than
substance.
But yeah - I'm very wary of trusting random DKs to be able to do their
job. It's the class of choice for the lazy and clueless, by far. While
idiots who flout the most basic Blizzard enforced RP realm rules (and
boy are they ultra-basic! Just how dumb or big a dick do you need to be
to not follow them?) abound in all factions, I see a lot more DKs doing
this. That tells me more than anything what kind of players pick them
:-(

I've seen both good and bad behaviour on both sides (though hardly ever
both on the same realm, so it's possibly just server differences...),
though I would say Horde players seem to have a more cohesive identity
they rally around. On average Horde players seem to be more mature in
age. Perhaps in behaviour too... *thinks* Yeah, I reckon you could be
right about better behaviour - but only just, heh.

That said I think it's true - once you go Horde you never go back! :-D
The Alliance always seems slightly prissy to me, and far less honorable
than Horde at times! I'll grant you the Forsaken and Belfs can be quite
evil at times, but Orcs and Tauren especially are good hearted and
honourable. Trolls fall somewhere in the middle - neither outright evil
nor good, but I'd watch my back if I was a nearby human.
