wow client patch 2.3.0

I just installed Burning Crusade, not that I really had to, I wanted to.

Anyway I've started up and it wants me to download and install the
aforementioned patch. It downloads fine but it doesn't want to install.
The Blizzard installer just sits at 1% twiddling its thumbs and slowing
my computer down.

What's gone wrong?
I WANT TO PLAY DAMNIT.

works or it doesn't with no real reason for either. Go to www.wowwiki.com
and search for Patch Mirrors. They will bring up a list of places you
can download certain patches from. In your case, you want any patch
that upgrades you from your current version (sounds like 2.0) to the
most recent version, 2.3.X.

It's just started working actually, it's jumped from nothing for ten
minutes, actually, 20 minutes, and now it's at 8%. I am just impatient.

Oh, of course, my power goes out at 9% so I am back to the start again.
EARTHQUAKES one minute STUPID INSTALLERS THE NEXT. What next?!
