Was it just me that got some visible jerkiness this weekend?

There were a few points in Ashenvale forest, probably on Friday, that I
got some serious jerkiness (as in point-by-point movements, not smooth
at all). I wasn't sure if it was just the particular area, with a
handful of furbolgs, or a problem with the game. A couple of others said
they had it too, but when I turned around and ran the other direction,
it got smoother again.

That happened to me also. But, it seems it would have to be
server-specific wouldn't it?

Since the 2.05 patch my guys/gals always start out a bit slow now... :)

Lots of jerking, staggering, etc. I suspect it has something to do
with disk caching, loading files and buffers, etc. Over time (5-10
minutes), it seems to settle down.

I've seen this on at least three different servers so I suspect it is
some new 'feature'.

I can 'fix' it by pressing the 'Start' button (next to the Alt key to the
left of the spacebar). This minimizes WoW and brings up regular Windows
XP. Then I click the WoW icon in the task bar to switch back, and it's
smooth again.

I seem to have to do this about every hour or so.
