Obtaining Heroic Keys

Keys? Any easy ways to build up rep? I currently only have the
Keepers of Time heroic because of constantly trying to get through
Black Morass. Trying to get Honor Hold rep up now, I did all the
quests first and now I'm trying to zerg Shattered Halls over and over,
from what I have read, its best to do the questing for Honor Hold
after you get to Honored, wish I knew that then. Almost half way up
honored and not sure if I can turn in the tokens to get an honor boost
in SH now, havent done that yet.
Are there any easy repeatable turn in rep quests for factions to get
heroic keys? Like feathers for under city? But I think that stops at
honored. Any input would be great, working on getting my 12 primal
nethers for my epic 1h mace.

The +rep reward from tokens works in Shattered Halls. Pretty much all
the easy repeatable stuff stops at Friendly or Honored for every
faction. For Cenarion, you can get Coilfang Armaments from running
Steamvaults (or from the AH) that can be turned in all the way. You
can also do the PvP tower quest in HFP for rep. BUT...it always seems
dead there and it's only 10 rep per, so it's kind of a waste of time.
For pretty much all of them, it's "grind lower instance to honored,
quest after honored, grind 70 instances to revered." Unfortunately,
that's a crappy way to level to 70. Basically, once you've done all
the quests, you're stuck doing the 70 instances repeatedly for rep.

Hm, i never have and never will adjust my playing style to ease the
reputation grind (and therefore am unlikely to ever get the exalted rep
rewards). I just can't be bothered to follow guides that suggest "first
grind mob X until honoured, then hand in the stuff dropped by X until
revered and *then* do the quests until exalted" etc.
Having that said: I started questing in HFP at 60 and did all the quests
there. I then left for Zangarmarsh (at roughly 62.5). Later (around 65 or
so) I came back for the HFC instances: Ran the ramparts 2x and the blood
furnace once. That was (just) enough to hit revered and let me buy the key.
I have since once ran the shattered halls (couldn't down the last boss, so
I'll have to go back at least once).
Using the same approach, I need another 600 rep for revered with Cenarion
Expedition (which my next steamvault trip to get the Khrazan key fragment
and the underworld loam quest should take care of). I am however still far
away from revered with the third faction that grants access to a heroic
instance (not even sure which one it is, I think the Sha'tar, but not quite
sure).
So doing all the quests and running the instances a few times should be
enough, really. Keeping the quests for later will make it easier to reach
exalted but getting to revered for the heroic keys should be feasible if
you quest first and run instances later.

I don't know how this worked in the beginning of TBC. But this is no
longer possible. Ramparts and Blood Furnace no longer give rep beyond
honoured. So when you have done all quests, the only thing remaining
for Honoured -> Revered is running Shattered Halls over and over
again.
Unless you fell like capping the 3 towers for 10 rep a few hundred
times ;-)

Sha'tar gives a key as well. A short overview:
- Lower City -> Auchindoun
- Thrallmar/Honour Hold -> Hellfire Citadel
- Sha'tar -> Tempest Keep
- Cenarion Circle -> Coilfang Reservoir
- Keepers of Time -> Caverns of Time

If your objective is primal nethers, work on Sha'tar (Tempest Keep)
and Cenarian Expedition (Coilfang) rep because Underbog, Slave Pens,
and Mechanar are the easiest heroics, and doable in about 1.5 hrs.
Blood Furnace (Honor Hold rep) is a popular heroic, because it drops a
PvP necklace with spell interrupt resistance, not because it's short
and easy. If you want nethers or badges, do the easy heroics.

Actually, I just checked, it is Kurenai I easily got revered with as there
are so many quests for them both in Zangarmarhs and Nargand. Honour Hold I
am still in the middle of honoured, so I guess I, too, will face countless
runs through the shattered halls.

I also found the ramparts to be rather easy and short. The boss before
nazan drops the primal nether. And the way is rather easy, totally
doable with one healer and 4 melee (that was actually my last group
setup there, one prot warrior, one dps warrior, two rogues), with only
two difficulties: the so-called-AOE pull (5 casters and one enraging
elite) and, of course, Nazan, who requires the healers to have a
shitload of health to soak the landing and the fear bomb until the
aggro is secured at melee range. My 9k health are barely enough :S
