I was looking into Lib Data Broker and it's many supporting addons.
It's an interesting alternative to FuBar etc.

Can anyone recommend a good LDB data display addon?

So far I've loooked at Button Bin, Docking Station, and Fortress.

I couldn't figure out Fortress. The other 2 were OK, but so far
nothing has convinced me to drop FuBar.

I use ChocolateBar:

A bit like Fubar. Actually Dockingstation can be made to look almost
like Fubar so I am not sure why you don't like it.

You should also get Fubar2Broker for those few addons who still haven't
been updated to LDB:

Almost forgot to say that Tekkub maintains a list of LDB addons:

I didn't say I didn't like it, just that I couldn't see a reason to
switch from FuBar. :-)

I use Titan Panel (yes - it now does LDB plugins :-) ) which works very
well, if rather inflexibly (I'd like to be able to position plugins
left, middle and right regardless of their type or the default settings
I've applied).

Up and coming star NinjaPanel
<http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info11884-NinjaPanel.html> is
almost ready to replace Titan Panel and I'm keeping a close eye on this
LDB panel from TomTom's author.

Take a look at <http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/index.php?cid=108>
for more display addons and plugins. Curse is only doing a half-hearted
job tracking new LDB software.

I got what seems like a definitive list here:
http://wiki.github.com/tekkub/libdatabroker-1-1/addons-using-ldb
which covers the display addons and plugins.

But as much as I like playing with new addons, so far I don't see what
advantage any LDB display addon has over my current FuBar.

I was just wondering if someone was going to say, "Ah, but if you get
this LDB addon you can do X which FuBar can't do!"...

Since I find that most LibDataBroker plugins display quite nicely on FuBar,
I didn't even realize it was a replacement, per se.

Here is an overview of LDB:

http://wiki.github.com/tekkub/libdatabroker-1-1

Quote:

"I know, lot of fancy programmer talk there… ignore all that. I’m sure
you’re asking “so what does this do for me that FuBar/Titan doesn’t?”
Well if you use FuBar or Titan currently and like it, not much. But if
you don’t use one of those two addons, or do use them but are looking
for alternatives, LDB-based plugins and display addons open up your
horizons. Think of it like taking a cell phone that is locked into a
specific carrier and “unlocking” it to use on any network."

Well take a look at the link I gave and you'll see a lot that's not
covered by Fubar plugins (very active development going on now). Much
that is, but the real advantage is I can use any LDB display addon -
even more than one at once (and I do) with my LDB plugins. No
constraints :-)
