Been hearing a few complaints from guildies about loot ninjas in
cross-realm groups.

Usually it is ninjas needing on the orbs at the end of the dungeon.

I am not inclined to get particularly upset about it. But it appears
that some people in the random groups figure that they are never going
to see anyone else in the group again, so they go off their best
behavior.

I think this is the norm on some servers. When people from those
servers are in a pug, they Need on the orb because it's what they're
used to.

I've yet to have this happen in any of the runs I've done. I'm sure it does,
but it's not been common for me, yet.

Yeah, I think it's the norm on some servers. I'll wait at the rolling
stage, to see whether people roll need or greed. If I see 2 or 3 greeds,
I'll greed too. If people need, I roll need too...

That said, the things are fast becoming worthless, so it's not even
really worth the hassle.

Like the others have said, it is the norm to need on orbs on some servers.

Also, WoW.com have stated in two articles that I have read about
cross-realm dungeons that you should need on orbs which will have
increased the number of people needing on them somewhat.

I've been seeing various threads in the Forums saying the same thing.

I haven't used the new tool as much as I'd like (no time), but I've
been lucky so far - people have been nice about loot, and I've even
seen some people *gasp* actually pass.
