It's a new adventure game just out and only 20 bones. 480p and Dolby D.
Excellent sound and creepy atmosphere. I you dig adventure games and have a
spare $20.00 don't pass it up.

imho, graphics are great but it's more like a problem solving myst
meets CSI-type game that drags on very slowly. you know why they
released it for only 20 bones? It has been out for awhile now in the UK.

Ya an adventure game

myst
> meets CSI-type game

Yup an adventure game. Not your bag? That's cool. If it is check it out.

well, to me, adventure denotes action. You'll find none of that in this
game. For the non-thinkers that might take you up on "don't pass it
up": It's worth passing; every game that starts off at $20.00 is.

Fish! - of Arcadia.

Hi Shill, if it's worth playing it's worth downloading for free.

You're new to gaming aren't you? Adventure is a genre of gaming like FPS and
RPG.

Nope its only been out in the UK for about 2 weeks :-)

Adventure has always been slow paced non-action games dating back to the old
text adventures of the speccy, amstrad and C64. If you want action look for
action/adventure. Two different genres :-)
Did you ever bypass Beyond Good and Evil because it started out as a budget
game?

I was off btw. lol at me, i just realized games like Mario and Conker
are called "platform" games not too long ago. ever since I was a a kid,
I've never really defined games beyond RPGs and FPS; just play em. In
all fairness, Still Life hasn't gottent the greatest of reviews.
Gamespot gives it a 6.7.

OKAY, OKAY! "Every" was a bad choice of words. At least tell me you see
a pattern with games with initial release prices of $20.00? I

new to defining some game "genres" I guess. Truthfully, I've been
playing since the Sega and Nintendo made their debuts.

It's $20.00 because you only get half the game! It will cost you another
$20.00 to get Still Life 2 so you can get a real ending.

Despite the ending (or lack of one), it IS one of the better adventures
games out. Recommended, if you like that genre.

Just Adventure gives it an A
http://www.justadventure.com/reviews/StillLife/StillLife.shtm

Adventure gamers are a different breed. Gamespot's score isn't indicative of
what most pure adventurists will get out of it.

I quite liked the strange ending, it left it wide open for another game but
still left me with strong suspicions about who the killer was.

www.mysisterwasrapedbyadonkey.com gave it a A+/100% Game of the Year
too!

Seriously though....

http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/919679.asp?q=still%20life

avg. 69.2 Game Style and Xbox Advanced were being kind too :>)

lol. I love usenet :) no!

But really though...just adventure is one of the lamest sites I've ever
seen. All its missing is geocities for a host and those little
incessant pop ups; then it would really be homey. You rock! :)
