I understand many of you are frustrated by the way some of the game.com items
are being handled. Sometimes alot of this is not within our control. Some
delays just happen. Tiger has read and we have seen your game ideas, your
concerns and everything else. These have been forwarded to the appropriate
people. I understand how you feel. I have read the letters about games that
have never come out, and games that are coming out, and which games will work
and not work. I would like to offer something just to prove that game.com is
NOT dead. It is far from it, no matter what you hear.

For a VERY limited time, I am going to offer readers of this Newsgroup, the
ones that have been very loyal to game.com a chance to take a sneak peek at a
game under development. You are all aware of this game. It is called: METAL
GEAR SOLID. I have been given permission to make a Quicktime movie of the
game.com version of the game available. This will only be offered in
Quicktime, so please do not email asking for AVI or MPEG.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS AN EARLY VERSION OF THE GAME, IT IS QUITE SHORT,
AND FAIRLY DUSTY. THE FINAL GAME MAY LOOK A BIT DIFFERENT. NOT MANY PEOPLE
HAVE SEEN IT, AND CHANGES ARE SURE TO BE MADE.

If you would like to view this, I am willing to send it to you via Email. If
you would like it, please email: tige...@aol.com In the SUBJECT BOX: Type:
METAL GEAR SOLID. If you are unable to get a large file via Email, please let
me know, and I will see what I can do.

UNDERSTAND THIS IS FOR PRIVATE VIEWING ONLY. THIS IS NOT TO APPEAR ON ANY WEB
SITE WHATSOEVER. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT IT DOES NOT GO PUBLIC FOR VARIOUS
REASONS.

I have other movies I can offer, and I have been given special permission to do
this. If this remains private and no one Posts it to a web site, I will
continue to give you as many sneak peeks as I can. IF ONE PERSON POSTS THIS,
HE/SHE WILL RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE.. So please..... Just dont post it..

I just want to thank EVERYONE for their patience, and I know it has been hard.
Believe me,, GAME.COM IS NOT DEAD. I will try to prove it to you anyway I
can.

Thanks for hanging in there, and supporting Tiger..

Even if this video isn't of a final version it looks pretty good, a
little choppy but what do you expect from a probable alpha? I know I've
bashed the Com in the past but just seeing that movie makes me want to
buy a Com
just so I can play MGS on the road.

Remeber the RE2 movie that game out on Tiger's site? It reminds me of it a
lot. And look at how little RE2 changed from the movie to realese. Sure there
will be some changes, but I think we are seeing something very close to the
final version. I can't wait.

Maybe you shouldn't be trying to support the system entirely by yourselves.

I bet it's that blasted new QT format I can't play. Oh well.
