I don't think this game will make it to either 'Game of the year' or
'Gold Edition'.
I suppose that makes sense - that it might be cheaper to keep it
downloadable instead of cutting a disk for every update.
Is this content available for download seperately? From a laptop and
installing it on the console? If so, where would it be available? I
could not find it on Activision site...

Sorry, the content is only available through the console. And I
wouldn't be so quick to rule out a gold edition of this game. It's
not like they are based on the performance of the game or anything.
Maybe "Ultimate" edition would have been a better choice of words.
But after seeing what looks like a stellar year for AAA titles in
2010 maybe the delay will be good.
