Vice City need help passing Cannon Fodder mission

it is, you can hop into the truck and smush all the Hatians against the
wall, hop out of the truck and run into the warehouse. Plant the bomb as
quick as possible (killing the Hatians in the warehouse as needed) then just
run like hell out of there. Check out gamefaqs.com for more information.

It's the mission where you take the Cuban gangsters into Little Haiti
to steal a truck from them. I can get past the first two parts of the
mission. The first part you have take out some gangsters behind a car.
The second part you have to take out a sniper. The the third part I
try to steal the van and the Haitians either pull me out or destroy
the truck. If I try to fight the Haitians, they outgun me and kill me
quickly, even with 100 health and 100 armor they take me out quickly.

go in there and use it like crazy. once you take out enuff people so you
can get near the van get in and gun it.... you will get the van shot up
pretty bad. and once out on the street you will et a wanted level so use
the not-wanted code as well then just drie like crazy to the
destination. this may take a few tries.but afterwards you will look back
at how this was easier than it seemd to be.

I don't recall having to steal a truck? Isn't that the
mission where you plant bomb?
I usually drive a car round to the wall and stand on top of
it and kill the gangsters. Kill the sniper and then take the
next bit slowly don't move on until you've killed everyone
you can see.

I thought if you used cheats it would mess the game up and make it

I didn't get to the bomb planting mission yet, this mission is the
second Cuban mission.

1. Firstly find a car with room enough for 3 passengers. When you
have it, stop in the pink glow. Your passengers will hop in, and a
destination will pop up on the map. Go there now.
2. The game will give you a warning on the way, but ignore it, as
it doesn't really affect you. Stop in the second pink glow. Stand at
the end of the alley and fire a single rocket at the car. This should
kill most of the enemies, but a few sniper rifle shots won't go
amiss. You may need to move slightly into the alley to shoot
everyone.
3. When they're all dead a cut scene will begin. When it ends, run
back up the alley slightly and snipe the enemy with a pink arrow
above his head on the roof.
4. Quickly equip your Python and move further forward, shooting
anyone you can see. Another quick cut scene will take over when
you've gone forward enough.
5. When it ends, unload your Python on anybody you can see. Kill
at least the closest enemy gang members before climbing into the van
and escaping. If you don't, they'll only pull you out again.
6. Charge back up the alley, running over anybody who stands in
your way. When on the road you have the police to worry about, but
the Pay 'N' Spray is a short journey away, so use it before returning
to your final destination. Drive safely, because you need to keep the
van intact.
NOTE: Look out, as the Haitian gang now want to kill you on sight.
They're not a big threat, (like certain gangs were in GTA3) but don't
go asking for trouble.

Good advice. I found that in GTA:VC that the rocket launcher was the
almost always the answer when I ran into trouble. Even then, I had to
play that mission a few times to pass it.

help guys. I basically just hid behind the van while the Cubans killed
the Haitians. If a Haitian came near me, I shot him with the spass
shotgun. Either the shotgun or the python would allow me to kill with
one shot, this time around I had the shotgun. Then I drove the van
back to Robina's. It wasn't too hard for me to evade the cops.

Start off trying to move slowly, taking out 1 or 2 guys at a time
before you get all the way in where the truck is. Also, don't try to
hide behind the truck, or shoot the truck, because if it blows up,
you're screwed.
I think this is the level where the guys will continue to respawn, so
don't just try to kill them all until they stop coming. Get the best
"uzi" like weapon you can for this mission. Just fire and keep
re-pressing lock-on until you've taken out basically everyone. After
that, hop in the truck, and try to let whoever is with you back into
it. I'm not sure if they all need to be alive. It won't hurt trying to
reverse into the guys trying to kill you if there are some, which
you'll need to do anyways in order to get the van out. If they're
trying to pull you out, just hit the gas or reverse towards the
direction with the most clear area, and watch to see if anyone is
coming to pull you out. If you wait too late, they'll be able to pull
you out anyways.

Bingo - you have to kill a bunch of the Haitians without getting killed
yourself (or the van blown up) before you steal the Van. Too many Haitians
left and they can pull you out.
It's tough, but I think the Bank Robbery mission is a lot tougher.

It isn't actually too bad if you have the fast shooting Spas-12 shotgun. You
can pretty much decimate an army with this. Just make sure you clear the
area and there's a lull in the action before you take off with the van.
I remember one time trying to take the van back with a shot-out tire whilst
trying to evade the cops, cos of the wanted stars. Bit tricky!
I've been replaying Vice City recently and it really is such a fantastic
game and well deserving of all the awards it's gotten (BAFTAs recently etc.)

Keeping the others with you only endangers them, since the cops ONLY
care about getting YOU. The only requirement is that you must own
Sunshine Autos in order to properly use this strategy. Think about it...

apparently, if you start killing several hostages then the rest of them all
gang up on you ...

LMAO...I've never seen that in VC. Sounds like the order the captain
gave one of his soldiers in Easy Company on last night's installment of Band
of Brothers. Captain took the guy's gun and took every bullet except one. He
then told the kid "If you execute one prisoner, the rest are going to jump
you, I want them all back at battalion CP alive."

Heroes' in Reservoir Dogs when I was doing 'The Job' mission :-)
The developers do seem to like their movies. The voice of the person giving
you the assassination contracts over the phone sounded really familiar.
Later on, I read that the voice was intended to sound like the Kobayashi
character in Usual Suspects. I was like "Oh yeah!"
