YO danny, i've been looking around the internet and i've read and the
people said that it has been comfirmed so it ain't no bull crap rumor.
it features in the game,
Hell in the cell match (you can throw your opponent through the cell)
ladder match (you can do basically everything in this match that you saw
in the hardys vs. edge and christian ladder match at NO MERCY ppv last
year.
the moves are the same, just like they were in the 1st smackdown game.
only the will have more double team moves, because the 1st game they
didn't have many and it sucked. moves such as the 3D (Dudley Death Drop)
and the double power bomb just to name a few.
it will have more back stage areas but i only know of one right now, the
wwf new york complex.
they'll have more wrestlers such as kurt angle, chris benoit, steph
mcmahon ( i think ), tazz, michael cole, and many more buts thats all i
know.
and the create a wrestler will be improved and thats all i know. if i find
out more i'll tell you more.

Tables Match (Single and Tag)
In both these the tables are breakable, THQ have said that you will be able
to put people through tables in several ways, You can place someone on the
table and jump from the top turnbuckle on to them. (Swanton anyone!!!), You
can stand on the table with your opponent and do a move through it. (Like
Rock Bottom or Pedigree), You can just Powerbomb them normally or Do the
Dudleyz way of putting people through tables, either the Powerbomb from the
top rope, or 3D someone through the table.(3D through table hasn't been
confirmed but you should be able to do it)
Ladder Match (Single, Tag and Triple Threat)
The singles ladder match has been confirmed (go to the screenshots page for
pics). It starts out side the ring and you have to bring it in the ring set
it up, and climb up towards the belt. I know what your thinking, What if the
match isn't for a title? well depending on what wrestlers there is in the
match then something to do with one of them will be hoisted up, e.g. if Big
Boss Man was in the match his nightstick may be hoisted up. More good news
is that you can hit people with the ladder, and throw it at them. The Tag
Team ladder has now been confirmed so we can re-enact the classic Hardy Boyz
Vs Edge and Christian ladder matches. It is now certain that a Triple Threat
Ladder Match is in the game. You use R1 to pick up and set up the ladder,
You quickly tap Triangle to climb it and circle to grab the belt or opject.
I Quit Match
Same as Smackdown 1 except more backstage areas inc WWF New York, Locker
room and the street.
Hardcore Match
Same as Smackdown 1 except more backstage areas inc WWF New York, Locker
room and the street.
Falls Count Anywhere
Same as Smackdown 1 except more backstage areas inc WWF New York, Locker
room and the street.
Tag Team Match
Same as Smackdown 1
Tornado
This I expect will be similar to the one in WWF Warzone where it is an
Elimination Tag Team match with no tags, when the other tag team is
eliminated you win.
Iron Man Match
You can choose 15 min, 20 min, 30 min, 45 min or 60 min match, most
pinfalls or submissions in the match wins
Casket Match
The casket can be moved around the ring or the outside of it, the first
person to put their opponent in it, close the lid and lock them in it to
win.

More In Depth Career Mode
As the Pre-Season has been taken out this will have much more to it than in
the first one, don't worry as this time in season you will be able to talk
to other superstars and tell them to shut up etc. just like pre-season in
Smackdown 1. Another thing is if you turn you're back on you're partner, or
attack him/her, they will run out in you're matches, and it will turn into a
grudge, you can also join stables. New cut scenes involve stables meeting in
the back.
Hell in a Cell
A match of this sort begins in the ring, which is enclosed in a steel cage,
but fighters can bust out of the "cell" by destroying a wire mesh panel.
This panel, of course, becomes a fine tool with which to rearrange a face.
After exploding from the ring, players can then take the fight on top of the
steel cage, performing all sorts of moves and attacks. The center wire
square in the cage can be smashed through, so players can bodyslam an enemy
through the cell and down to the floor below. The wrestler who performs the
attack will seemingly fall through the panel, too, but then smartly grab on
to the cage and hang.
Create a Wrestler
This has completely been revamped as now you can change up to 2000 body
parts from boot color to eye color. You can create at least 16 superstars
Create a Pay-Per-View
Same as Smackdown 1, hopefully more matches will be able to be put in a PPV
rather than just 6.
Create a Taunt
Nothing released on this mode.
Create a Manager
Nothing released on this mode. Expect it to be a Create a Wrestler type mode
where you create your manager and select things like; Do they come to ring
side?, or stay out the back?; Do they interfere? if Yes, How? etc..
Create a Stable
Nothing released on this mode. I think you choose a wrestler a stable name
and the rest of the members.

Q. Is (insert Wrestler in here) in the game?
A. The Full wrestler list hasn't been released yet but if he/she has been on
air 3 months before the release date then he/she should be in it.
Q. Is the Stink Face, or Worm in the game?
A. Yes both are in the game as well as the Too Cool Dance.
Q. Is The Goodfather in it instead of The Godfather as well as Bull and
Steven Richards?
A. See the answer to Q.1. Everyone should be in the gimmick they are at time
of release.
Q. Is there going to be a Brahma Bull Rope match, Strap match, Lions Den
Match, Inferno Match?
A. I very much doubt any of these will be in it, Maybe on PS2 or PS3.
Q. Are the entrances going to be the same as Smackdown 1 or will the
wrestlers walk all the way to the ring?
A. At the moment they are going to be the same as Smackdown 1, but it all
depends how much time they have whether or not full entrances will be
included.
Q. Will the wrestlers wear there belts down to ring side?
A. Yes, they will have it around there waist, and if they have two or three
they will be around each shoulder, this will be at the end of matches as
well.
Q. Will Stone Cold Steve Austin be in the game?
A. Yes, there is no way they would leave him out.
Q. Will their be interference in HIAC so u could help put the opponent
through the cell with a 3d?
A. I don't think so, as it would slow the match down completely.
Q. Will u be able to do your finisher on the HIAC like a pedigree and go
through the cell with that move or will u do it and stay on the cell?
A. To put someone through the Hell In A Cell you have to use a powerful
move, so anyone's special move will put them through it, it has been said
you can do a Stone Cold Stunner and put someone through the Hell In A Cell.
Q. When someone interferes do they stay in the ring longer than Smackdown 1?
A. Nothing has been released on this more should be clear when the beta
versions are being tested.
Q. will the Big Show have those black pants or will he have those black
shorts and/or the T-Shirt that says BIG NASTY BAS*@$D?
A. From the pictures with Big Show in he's wearing black shorts with no top
but THQ have said that they may make different outfits available for each
wrestler.
Q. Are they guaranteeing that the changing of alliances will occur?
A. Yes
Q. Will Road Dogg and X-Pac come out to the Run DMC tune?
A. All depends on copyright
Q. How many wrestlers can you create?
A. It is believed to be at least 16.
Q. Will you see them walk to the ring like wm2000?
A. All depends on how much time they have. At the moment they are the same
as Smackdown1.
Q. Can you make a stable in Season Mode using The Rock and Undertaker?
A. Not Sure, I think you can.
Q. Will there be blood?
A. Yes.
Q. Will the wrestlers talk?
A. Yes, during some cutscenes.
Q. Will you be able to throw people off the ramp on to the floor?
A. In the exact words of Sanders Keel (THQ Bloke), "No, Maybe a game shark
code or something. (Action Replay type of gizmo for us British)
Q. Who is Rodney in the picture?
A. Rodney is a member of the Mean Street Posse.
Q. What is the Smackdown Mall?
A. Smackdown Mall is a way of getting extra Clothes and secrets in WWF NO
MERCY on the N64, This feature is not in Smackdown 2.
Q. How many discs will Smackdown 2 be?
A. At the moment it is one, but they may make it two with the season mode
being on one disc and exhibition and others on the other.
Q. Is Swanton the only move you can do off the ladder/Piledriver the only
move you can do on a table?
A. No, Its just the other moves haven't been programmed in yet.
Q. Will there be Fireworks?
A. Nothing has been released about that.
Q. Will you ever put some hell in a cell pics on your website?
A. Read the news on the site. NO ONE is allowed to take pics of it yet.
