It depends on what you seek in a baseball game. If you want
arcade-style play, Triple Play 2001 is the best bet. It has the best
presentation and graphics but unrealistic gameplay.
If you want gameplay, you can't go wrong with Sammy Sosa High Heat
2001. It looks like hell and has dodgy sound, but the gameplay is
great. It's also marked down to between $19.99 and $24.99 at most
outlets and on the Web.
Interplay Sports Baseball 2000 still has the best pitcher-batter
interface of any PSX baseball game I've played, and it's a pretty
realistic sim with decent graphics and lousy sound. It's a good game
but a bit hard to find. Check eBay or Amazon auctions.
Good gaming,
Paul Kelly
